All of his very close friends woke up early this morning to send Nicholas off for his flight to New York, departing at 10:50am. Clearly, everyone that was there will miss him very much, although some jokingly said that they wouldn’t be missing his voice.
Luckily, he did leave behind his voice - in our audio podcasts, and this episode will be his last in a few months, until he comes back from NY in January 2008.
This week we will be talking about yet another US Republican scandal (almost 1 in every week of 2007 thus far), this time dealing with US Senator for Idaho, Larry Craig, being accused of perfoming indecent acts in a public bathroom, allegedly cruising for sex, which was exposed by an officer on duty to what it appears to be a case of police entrapment, and finally announcing plans to quit from his post as a result. We also talked about how this issue may relate well in the Singapore context.
We also discuss some future plans for QueerCast, as we got a new member in the team: the fabulous Emeric Lau, in place of our loud and proud Nicholas Deroose. (We’re missing him already!!)
Don’t miss his last episode (in a while)!!

About
Wickedly funny, senseless, yet informative - QueerCast is what you will need to spice up your dull straight-acting days with the colours of the rainbow. The "hopefully" weekly show delivers entertainment, community news and updates, uniquely Singaporean issues, or even the occasional personal jokes and rantings.Sponsors

Cya Nicholas. Bon voyage & Happy Beginnings III in US.
Well Wishes from Jake
Well, Darlings! As always lovely to catch your queercasts, I listen Sunday lunchtime at home with a nice cup of Jasmine tea.
Nick dear, you shall be missed - however all is not lost - you can still record your blogs and stream through to queercast, can’t you?
You never did get us both together on the net-waves - but I got the netting around you… do you remember I dressed you up in drag. Remember that??
Well, my love I wish you well, have fun and remember to keep me updated as to what’s-up on the scene in NY.
Good luck wishes to Emeric and indeed to Ian, “keep it UP!” as I always say… I’m a lady, I expect it that way!!!!
MiStevious XX
Hey MiStevious, thanks for the well wishes! We’ve just recorded a new episode and it’ll be up real soon…
Love, Emeric
