It’s finally over

After more than a month of planning, buying, spending, and networking, we’ve finally made it. The entire QueerCast team (which is, the 3 of us) will like to thank everyone that came to support us, as well as the people that came to help us! We only have 3 people in the team, and we couldn’t have done it without every single one of you!

We will like to specially thank SportsmenAsia for sponsoring the prizes, as well as being our official wardrobe sponsor for the day. Also thanks to MOX Bar and Cafe for the venue, Pelangi Pride Centre for the help, Women’s Nite, and AFA for the condoms. We hope we didn’t miss out anything, and if we do, we’ll blow to compensate. =P

Definitely thanks to YOU that CAME! Without you buying our t-shirts/photos and your generous donations, we could not have even break even from all we spent organising this party!

Some photos will be posted here soon (unless you gave us permission to post up here), and yeah, we hope to organise more of such fabulous parties in the future!

QueerCast #23: Pre-Party Bitching!

Less than a week to our party (actually it’s this Saturday), and we’re really excited (and nervous) that you will come!

We felt we HAD to do up an emergency episode, and therefore we rant about the party, as well as the adventures from all the traveling Nick and Ian had over the past weeks. Ian went to Taiwan to “work”, while Nick went to Bangkok for a holiday! Well, that automatically means that Nick kinda checked out the gay scene there too! (Haha)

Ok. Nick’s a bit sick, so he might not be sounding as enthusiastic as usual (we fell sick while working hard planning the party!). Everyone, take care of yourself ok? The weather now in Singapore isn’t exactly as good as usual!

Have you searched out your entire wardrobe and chosen your favourite outfit to wear to our party yet? Even if you haven’t, we have good news for you!

We are pretty sure that you’ll be excited to be there, because we have prizes as well as gift vouchers to give out, sponsored by the fabulously generous hunks at SportsmenAsia! Isn’t that enough just to lure you to come to our party?

Don’t you just love the word FREE? =D

Someone asked if there’s an age limit. The answer is no! We welcome anyone, and the bar will be serving both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. But of course, if you are a minor below 18, sorry… no alcohol for you! It’s the law that’s stopping you, so… yeah. There are still juices selling at very cheap prices you know? =)

We welcome all queer/straight women to join us too!

Anyway, as a matter of formality, please tell us that you are coming! In that way, we will know how many people we are actually expecting! …and so that maybe we can work out on how many more prizes we’ll need to prepare you see! ;)

You may RSVP to us by dropping an email to party@queercast.net! Simply tell us that you are coming, and we will be really excited to see you there! If you are coming with your friends, tell us how many of you will be joining in the fun too!

In accordance to our efforts to try to help protect the privacy of our party attenders, no cameras, video cameras, or image recording devices of any kind are allowed in the party.

We have appointed cameramen that are already handling such needs, and they have been informed to take photos only when consent is given by you. Therefore, please refrain from taking any photos except by our authorised helpers. If you are bringing a friend, please do help us with this!

If you are really interested to have your photo taken, we have a photo taking booth set up to specifically satisfy your need! You can even pose with our fabulous show presenters, and receive a high quality printout of your picture! Of course, unless you agree to have your photos posted online, your photos are safe with us!
