Everyone knows by now that after a question asked by Loretta Chen, whom we interviewed a few episodes ago for the play 251, Minister Mentor Lee Kwan Yew has a lot to say about his views on homosexuality.
In this episode, we try to dissect what he said by exploring the contradictions, what it means for us, and how you can play a part.
On another note, a recent “alert” was posted on a mailing list called “Catholic Lawyers”. It was calling the mailing list subscribers to file feedbacks to the government to criminalise homosexuality, clearly based on their Catholic religious beliefs, and screams fundamentalism as its motive was completely drawn according to their unique interpretation of biblical values.

They can file their homophobic feedbacks all they want, and so can we. Information on that after the jump.

You may file your responses to the government by going to http://www.reach.gov.sg. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Something to say? […] Email us today”. If you do not know what you can write, read here and post it up as it is, if you feel that the passage relates to you the same. (http://nicky-bitchy.livejournal.com/35014.html)

Just wanted to drop a line and say HOWDY! from California Pennsylvania. I recently began listening to your podcast and find it quite enjoyable and informative.
Keep up the good work!

Good podcast -
I think we have every right to discriminate against ‘these people,’ because they’re bigots, and their entire platform is founded on a kind of irrational, poorly-informed fear (lobby? what lobby?).
It’s the people with something coherent and critical (in a positive sense) to say whom we should respect, not mere idiots.
hey hey
thanks for listening in!!!
