    hey y’all..

    well..loved episode 8..though it did sound less crazy as opposed to ur home recorded ones..

    correct me if im wrong..but i think the anal and oral thingy..was established in 1997..where it is not considered unlawful if it was done as a PRELUDE TO VAGINAL SEX..ok..that V word freaks me out totally..and this review was to remove the capitalised words out of the code..it was also mentioned that the changes would only affect heterosexual relationships, and it was also stated in the article in The Straits Times, dated 9th Nov,

    ‘Section 377A which deals with “gross indecency” between men will remain in force. The penalty remains a maximum of 2 yrs in jail.’

    imagine goin to jail everytime u have gross indecency with other men..by the time ur 30 and considering ur only legally allowed to have sex after the age of 16..u’d probably only have had gay sex 7 times..THE HORRRORS!!

    there was one part in the article which me and a fren both agreed that was a shot in the gahmens own foot.

    ‘While it is technically illegal for men to have sex with other men, the ministry reiterated that it will not be proactive in enforcing this law against consensual acts that take place in private.’

    ok..both of us agreed that its like the gahmen telling us..

    ‘u cannot do this hor..but if we dont see..we dont know la..’

    somewhere else in the article..a law professor by the name of Michael Hor(wonder if he’s gay..and hot..)questioned the validity of the reasons given for not decriminalising homosexual acts..he cited,

    ‘For example, adultery is similarly unacceptable, not tolerated and abhorrent, but there is no suggestion that adultery ought to be criminalised.’

    well..we bitch n moan n fight n protest..but end of the day..no way the gahmen is gonna change now..in the words of another lawyer..

    ‘Perhaps by the next major ammendment to the Penal Code in, say 20 years’ time, we may see same-sex activities being decriminalised. But not now.’

    damn..i’ll be ancient by then..

    Hey guys! Thanks for the shout-out at the end of Episode 8. Just hope that I will not always be remembered only as “that guy from Mox”, considering that I don’t even go to Mox myself that often! hahaha…
