Heylo,

It seems that some of you guys are experiencing d/l problems well i have looked into it and i think it is maybe because the file is too big so what we have done is we have compress the tricky little thing. Hopefully this will be better. Keep your feedback coming because we are alway aiming to make queercast better for you guys out there.

Er…. do you have a RSS feed for your podcast? You realise that is what podcasting is about?

Hey! Great show you have there! Anyway, I’m Jasper, and I met you guys over at the SQ21 book launch at MOX. =D. I’m sure you remember me, right? Haha.

Just to share: Multiply.com sucks. Odeo.com offers better download speeds and the files don’t get cut-off halfway. (cuz I myself is frustrated as I tried downloading the file for 5 freaking times before I got it in whole!) =(

Just sign up for an account, upload your mp3, once done, look for the direct mp3 at the bottom of the page and paste that link here.

If any more questions, I am able to send you an email with pictures to guide your way to it.

    Anyhow, good job!

    My email is jasperthedummy[at]gmail.com. =D

    To Queercast,

On behalf of Pink.sg team,I would like to apologize for any misinterpretations on our part.

Indeed we should put this matter behind us, especially if it was a non-issue to begin with.

To pleinelune: yeah we did realise that but us being the techo idoit that we are we have not figure a way to do it cause we don’t really understand most of the techincal jargon that it in the instructions but we thought since you know not everybody has a ipod this way we could reach out to more people in mp3 format.

heya Nic and Ian, I really enjoyed listening to Queercast. Keep up the bubbly chatter! One suggestion - not sure if there are any copyright issues (there probably are, in this day and age) - but I was thinking it’d be great if you guys could intersperse your chit-chat with some songs? Like maybe introduce some queer music (classics and new stuff? Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys, et al.)…one way of getting around the copyright might be to play a short extract rather than the full song, maybe a verse and a chorus or something.

    To domch:

well we could do that but it would make the esp a lot longer than it already is. but i will look into the gay music part.

    cheers

Well there are several ways to do this:

Use libsyn to store your media files.

    EITHER

    1. switch to a wordpress blog, which has almost perfect podcast support [and probably would be way better than blogger]

    OR

    2. Get a feedburner account, and run your blog through that. http://www.feedburner.com . I suggest you do this even if you have a wordpress blog.

If you want your content to be accessible, then you HAVE to make sure it is accessible via iTunes - there are people without ipods who use it too.

If you want more info, just email me at pleinelune@sayoni.com
